Free programme in DIVA during Open Monuments Day

On 10 September, Flanders organises an Open Monuments Day for the 35th time. This year, everything revolves around intangible heritage. You will discover the stories and traditions behind our monuments. They are cherished, evolve with time and remain alive and kicking until today. And you will meet the people who put their heart and soul into it.

The entry to the museum and the permanent exhibition A Brilliant Story is free all day. We recommend you to book your free admission ticket in advance.

1. Open atelier: demonstration

The two artists in residence, Australian Gretal Ferguson and Belgian Elise Hoebeke, explain their work in the atelier and demonstrate some of the tricks of the trade.
