Diamonds & more
Diamonds are part of Antwerp’s regional and urban DNA. They are historically embedded in and intertwined with Flanders, the province of Antwerp, the city of Antwerp and its people. The story of Antwerp’s long and close-knit relationship with diamonds and, more broadly, their use in silver objects and jewellery, illustrates how complementary Antwerp and diamonds are and just how much they need each other.
DIVA, the Museum for Silversmithing, Jewellery and Diamonds is working closely with the City of Antwerp to bring the diamond experience to life as from the end of 2017 for citizens and visitors alike.
