Marvel at the beauty of diamonds, jewellery and silver
In the refurbished permanent exhibition A Brilliant Story (2023), you will discover the different stages of a piece of jewellery or silverware, from the mine to the finished product. See how diamonds are mined, how silversmiths work, and learn more about the art and uses of these beautiful objects.
The museum route starts on the second floor in the Raw Materials Room. Then you will descend to the Vault and the Boudoir on the first floor, and finally, via the Dining Room, the Trading Room and the Atelier, end up in the Room of Wonder. The museum tour follows the journey of the diamond or raw material, from the mine to the finished product. Feast your eyes on 650 diamonds, jewellery and silver objects from the 15th century to today.
