Three aigrettes to place in high padded hair: two naturalistic, the third introduces the theme of love, a major preoccupation in 18th century society, with Cupid firing his arrow at a heart hanging from a tree. Below: three naturalistic jewels – pompoms or roses- to pin on the bodice or sleeves of the dress, to fasten the brim of the hat to the side of the crown, and one round button.
