Residents Mara Balode and Lingjie Wang present their work in the museum's reading room.

During her residency, Mara Balode started researching the role of light in 19th and 20th century jewelery and immersed herself in the anodising of metal.

Lingjie Wang was inspired by the many possibilities that exist for setting gemstones. During her residency, she started researching the relationship between gemstones and the various – often alternative – options available for incorporating them into an object.
