Hébert cup and saucer
1754
Founded in Vincennes, now a suburb of Paris, in 1738, the Vincennes porcelain works transferred to Sèvres in 1756. Vincent Taillandier (1737-1790) worked first in Sceaux and later, from 1753, in Vincennes and Sèvres. He specialized in painting flowers and garlands of flowers and in gilding. Madame Adélaïde (1732-1800), daughter of Louis XV (1715-1774) and Maria Leszczynska (1703-1768), owned a trunk filled with this service (see La Gazette de l'Hôtel Drouot, no. 45, 13/12/2002, p 29).
