Coffeepot

1747 - 1748

The underside of the bottom has the following incised into it: 34 onces. We know of a very similar 1733 coffee-pot by the same silversmith with an ivory handle. A coffee-pot by this master from approximately 1740 still has the same shape and legs. This pot has only been decorated with more rocaille.
