This exceptional jardinière is resting on four bronze athletes with green patine. In the Delheid catalogue the jardinière is presented on a matching octagonal mirror. The bowl in the museum has the retailer's mark of the Antwerp jeweller Raymond Ruys, who sold a great deal of silver from the Delheid workshop in Brussels.
