Brussels silversmith. Jean-Baptiste Lombaerts orfèvre, rue des 6 jetons registered his maker's mark in Brussels on the 4th of April 1855. It probably concerns Jean-Baptiste Joseph Guidon Lombaerts (° 1812), married to Marie Thérèse Desuttre (° 1813) and in 1842 established as a craftsman in the rue de la querelle. Scion of a family of goldsmiths and silversmiths, active in Brussels in the first part of the 19th century.
