Offermans, Felix-Philippe

Antwerp silversmith. Born in 1816. Son of Philippe Offermans and of Theresia Chapel. He entered in association with his brother Louis Offermans (1822-1891) who was also a silversmith but who, in 1855, became a liquor-trader. Felix-Philippe Offermans also became (certainly as from 1862) a liquor-trader. He started as a silversmith on the Melkmarkt, in 1851 he had a business together with his brother on the Huidenmarkt and in 1856 he was established as a silversmith in the Begijnenstraat.
