Pijlemans, Hermanus

Brussels silversmith. On the 12th of December 1700 Hermanus Pijlemans, like his brother Daniël (+ 1730) was already for some time an apprentice of his father, the silversmith Hernicus Pijlemans sr. (+ 1709). On the 9th of December 1713 he registered in Brussels as a master. A year earlier, on the 13th of June 1712, he married Magdalena Dympha Oorlofs. He trained several silversmiths, including his sons Hernicus Johannes (from 1728) and Philippus Jacobus (from 1738). Dean from 1727-1728 till 1729-1730. Was buried on the 14th of December 1745.
