Bramer, Paulus

Watchmaker from Amsterdam. Born in 1696 as the son of Willem Sr. Bramer (1660 - 1784). In 1716 he married Martha Beeckman. He was active as an independent clock and watchmaker in Amsterdam between 1715 and 1750. His studio was located on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. His watches often featured the Huaud brothers' enamel. In 1750 his son Jurriaan (1719 - 1780) became co-owner of the business. Paul Bramer dies in 1770.
