Antwerp silversmith. Born in Brussels in 1647. Was then called Le Piege. In Antwerp he was active as a silver chaser and became a burgher in 1672. In that same year he married Anna van Elst. Afterwards he married Catharina Crispijn and finally Dymphna van Deuren, sister of silversmith Matthias van Deuren (1692-1764). He died in 1736. His sons Jan Anthoni (1673-1731) and Balthasar (1677-1746) also were active as silversmiths.
