Bombeke, Pieter

Pieter Bombeke is an Antwerp diamond cutter who started his carrier in 1967. He first trained as a diamond worker and through his grandfather came into contact with diamond cutters where he could apprentice. In addition to learning technical skills, it soon became clear that Bombeke also had a lot of creative talent. By 1980 he had built up a reputation for this and gained a broad clientele. From 2001 on, he works in Antwerp and creates innovative designs. He is also active as a teacher.
