Jeweler Alphonse Joseph Simonet (Oisquercq, 30/11/1846-Brussels, 04/08/1897) was married to Irma Charlotte Adelaïde Deanscutter (Deux-Acren, 1853 - Watermael-Boitsfort, 13/08/1920). In 1876 he was located at boulevard de la Senne No. 42 (No. changed to 38 in 1880) in Brussels. On 6 January 1885, he moved to No. 38 (No. 42 changed in 1890). After his death, his widow continued the shop at the same address, from 1902 to 1910 at 11 rue de la Madelaine and after 1910 at 74 rue Coudenberg. After her death, the business was run by her son Adolphe Louis Florent Simonet.
