Atelier Simonet-Deanscutter

Jeweler-retailer Alphonse Joseph Simonet (Oisquercq, 30/11/1846-Brussels, 04/08/1897) was married to Irma Charlotte Adelaïde Deanscutter (Deux-Acren, 1853 - Watermael-Bosvoorde, 13/08/1920). In 1876 he was based at 42 boulevard de la Senne (no. changed to 38 in 1880) in Brussels. On 6 January 1885, he moved to no 38 (no changed to 42 in 1890). After his death, his widow continued the shop at the same address, from 1902 to 1910 at no. 11 rue de la Madelaine and after 1910 at no. 74 rue Coudenberg. After her death, the business was continued by her son Adolphe Louis Florent Simonet.
