How can you recognise a diamond? Does your engagement ring contain a real one? A DIVA diamond expert will guide you through the four elements that make diamonds unique and determine their value: Carat (weight), Colour, Clarity and Cut – better known as the 4 Cs.
This engaging introduction to the fascinating world of gemstones is interactive and hands-on. After an introductory plenary session, you will work in smaller groups exploring the 4 Cs in greater depth.
Practical information:
• This introductory workshop is suitable for individual visitors aged 18 and over
• Young people aged 14 and over may take part when accompanied by a parent, grandparent, godparent or an adult sibling
• Dates: 19 April, 23 May, 3 July, 28 August, 27 September and 25 October
• Duration: 90 minutes
