A crown and an alliance coat of arms are engraved on the upper edge of the plates, which are part of the Gioconda service. The same coat of arms appeared on the side of the sideboard in the pavilion of honour at the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels in Paris.
