Three-part spray brooch

1880 - 1880

Emile Anthony & Wolfers Frères, three-part spray brooch, set with diamonds in rose-cut and old brilliant-cut, late 19th century. The brooch exemplifi es the naturalistic style that dominates the second part of the nineteenth century. The jewel is three-dimensional and consists of sprig elements, which are set on a spring, creating an illusion of movement. The design is by Wolfers Frères, who concludes an exclusivity contract with jewellery house Emile Anthony in 1897.
