Oloid Yin Yang Universe

The silver oloid 'Yin Yang Universe' is the link between the series of oloids and water bowls in Patrick Storme's oeuvre. The oloid shape symbolises infinity, combined with the water surface it embodies life on earth, from its origins to the present day. The object therefore represents the age-old yin-yang of life, the dark and the light, the feminine and the masculine. 'Yin Yang Universe' can exist purely symbolically or as an ornamental object, but it can also be used as an urn. The tazza from the DIVA collection (inv. no. S79/356) was a great source of inspiration.
